Today, I know that a colorful winter coat is the best choice for me. Common colors we typically choose among for a coat are black, navy, red, camel, grey, burgundy, and green. Keeping all other factors like fit, warmth, and silhouette constant, there are a few key questions I answer before splurging on a colorful coat.
Beside above, why would it be better to wear a black coat in winter? I doubt a black coat is much warmer than a white coat in the middle of winter. I'm sure it has more to do with style (black goes with almost everything) and because black is easier to keep clean. While a black coat may not actually be cleaner than a white coat, it hides dirt better and appears as if it's cleaner.
